He stared at the now wet and brown newspaper, and glared, nonplussed, at the smearing ink. Then he stood, folding the paper neatly and setting it on the table, wiped his mouth on his napkin, then turned to look out the now-open window at the redhead doing half-victory dance, half-oh-shit-fire-put-it-out motions.
"Reno..." His voice carried, though he most certainly did not yell. Oh no, not at all. His volume was perfectly controlled.
That's not to say his tone was. Oh no, his tone was one that promised certain death were he to be disappointed.

She picked up a rather large glass shard and set it aside, closer to where most of the shards were. She had been tempted to throw it at a tree to test her aiming skills but decided against it seeing that Rufus was nearby.

"Took me a while to get it just right. But yeah... that wasn't even a lot of the stuff. Next time we get hauled into some end-of-the-world scenario, we'll at least have some punch to hit back with." Now he just had to find safe ways of storing it, but would still allow for quick blending.
He bent over to pick up what looked to be a charred leg of the table he'd been working on. "I'm gonna need somewhere to work, too... This thing's history."

"I need a lab. Or an old, abandon warehouse. Or something I can use to keep working on these bombs, if we're going to have them ready to use anytime soon. And I'd rather not risk the manor - or anyone in the area - just to keep working. So... think you could help a Turk out here? Having explosives in your line of defense will make living here a hell of a lot easier."
