"Images of someone who died..." Aerith's voice trails off in thought, her Princess Guard lifting to lean against her right shoulder. Her eyes refocus in the direction Cloud was facing, surveying the area. She remembered some of this from coming to retrieve Vincent before, but her mind was instead forming questions. If images of the dead would appear in the Farplane, would it include people who had died on other planets? What about those who had died on Gaia and were brought back to life by the Iifa Tree?

Did it alter the life flow on Gaia as well?

She nodded either way. "Lets go there first then. I'm curious too."

Cloud gave a nod of agreement, leading the way into the settlement. It was strange, a little place like this underneath a tree. Maybe there used to be something else under there, but he wasn't quite sure what could have been here before. Maybe it wasn't any of his business but curiosity was something everyone contended with.

He knew where the entrance to the Farplane was. He'd asked around and he'd done his research. As much as people assumed he went into things blind at times, Cloud really did think things through when he needed to. Just only when he really had to.

As he stepped along the path to the Farplane, Cloud kept his attention half on Aerith to make sure she was right behind him. He didn't want to lose her somewhere. Blue eyes remained unreadable as he headed in, touching the forcefield that wasn't really one, just a barrier marking the edge of here and the edge of there. Stepping through, he was suddenly startled by the view.

Flowers as far as the eye could see, a huge blue moon and the sound of rushing water. It was

Aerith followed behind Cloud, her eyes shifting between the man in front of her and everything else around. There was no doubt in her mind that Cloud knew where he was going, or maybe she was just that content enough to be lead around that it wouldn't matter if they got lost or not. The questions and thoughts flowing through her mind were stronger than anything else at that moment.

As they passed through, Aerith's expression when from surprised to calmed, taken in by the sight of the flowers flowers in the glow of the moon. She moved around Cloud, taking her time to cautiously step through the the plants before she knelt within them, her hands moving along the petals as they would her own flowers back in her shop.

"I didn't expect it to look like this. It's pretty." she remarked, turning her head slightly to look at him over her shoulder. "But I don't see anyone but us."

Cloud nodded. It really was beautiful. Approaching the edge of the stone platform they were on, Cloud looked over at the waterfalls in the distance, and the blue moon up in the sky. Well, how did this work? It was beautiful and felt comfortable and safe, but he didn't see anyone else either.

"Maybe my parents aren't in the Farplane..." he mumbled to himself. But at that very moment, the two people he'd been thinking about, a woman he recognised like the back of his hand and a man he'd never so much as see in person, appeared in front of him.

They were just off the edge of the platform, hovering on nothing and transparent as well. "Mom?" His gaze turned to the man. "Dad?" They each nodded and he breathed. They were okay.
