Cloud was glad they arrived. The journey had been long. A boat ride from Luca to the mainland, an airship from Lindblum to Figaro and then a trip on Fenrir to Guadosalam. It was exhausting and took far too many stops for them to rest and eat. He just couldn't ride for days like he usually did, knowing Aerith was probably exhausted as well and needed to eat. It wouldn't be right for a good bodyguard to let her starve or pass out or dehydrate.
He had settled it with a Guado to keep Fenrir safely out of the way and was relieved that the people he worked for had agreed to allow him the time away because he was a Warrior of Cosmos and seeking answers to getting everything back to how it should be. It was just lucky that the man in charge was a sky person sympathiser.
Now that everything was settled, Cloud was set on waiting for a while and just checking out the Tree and the Farplane and the Lifestream. Looking over to Aerith, he crossed his arms, shifting his weight to account for Tsurugi on his back. "I want to go in and see the Farplane that Tidus has talked about... it can bring up the image of someone who's dead so you can talk to them..."
He wondered why they didn't have that at home. It would make things a lot easier. But now that Aerith was here and he knew it would be difficult to call upon Zack... he just wanted to see his parents.
