It's just a good thing for her that they don't lock their door when they're in the house - otherwise she'd start the visit with a broken nose.

Tidus was actually out in the kitchen, relacing his blitz armor - that funny contraption he wore over his arm needed general maintenance just like any other piece of equipment, and a couple of the straps were about to snap completely. Still, when the door opened, he heard it and paused in his work to look up. "Yuna? Lulu? Hey, could you bring me my shield? I left it behind the door." And his hands were full of straps at the moment.

Faris paused. A quick glance to the space behind the door revealed the shield in question. Picking it up and grinning to herself, Faris began the trek through the house, following that voice. Well, the element of surprise wasn't completely lost, even if he had heard someone entering.

Passing the shield from hand to hand, she found Tidus leaning over his work, and her grin widened.

"This be what yer looking for?" she asked loudly, holding up the shield.

"wha- Faris!" Initially startled, Tidus recovered quickly and jumped to his feet at that familiar voice, grinning widely. "You could've knocked, you know!"

But the rebuke isn't meant - he knows she wouldn't listen to it anyway - and he holds out a hand to grab one of hers. No hugs, since even though he knew she was a girl he didn't think of her as such, but a good solid handshake or a brofist was cool with him.

"When'd you get here?"

The extended hand was well met -- a firm grasp and a good strong shake. It was fine by her, she'd never been the touchy-feely type anyway. Moment like those were reserved for Lenna alone. Faris didn't bother responding to Tidus' declaration, except with a chuckle.

"'bout half an hour ago, I guess," replied Faris. "You home alone?"
