They had all been talking about one thing or another, having all kinds of fun up here. From up here, they could see the whole city. It was so pretty, and Marlene let out a happy sigh.

She turned quickly when she heard Tifa, fully expecting to get yelled at. Brace yourself- when it didn't come, she ran into Tifa's arms, giving her a hug.

"We didn't mean to worry you, we were okay!"

Vivi hadn't quite known what to do about Eiko's not-crying when she was on the phone. He had waved his arms around uselessly and mumbled 'p-please don't cry' and then hurried to correct himsef because she wasn't crying wasn't it obvious. And then he had quietly resolved to himself to tell whoever had been on the phone off for making her cry upset.

And then whoever had been on the phone had shown up and he'd chickenned out and was now hiding behind her instead, not wanting to get shouted at.

When the lecture didn't come, Denzel too rushed into Tifa's arms, cuddling her up with Marlene. No doubt the telling off would come later and they'd probably be grounded forever, but for now cuddles were good.

"We got Eikonapped. Sorry we worried you..."

Shelke was not much for the 'running into a hug' thing, so she remained seated, cross-legged, where she was on a bench nearby. There was the faintest hint of a smile on her face though as she watched Tifa hug Denzel and Marlene. Perhaps some small part of her was jealous that it was so...easy for them. Maybe it would be for her, someday.

"I made sure that they were unharmed," she offered after a the hug went on for a few moments.
