It still hadn't quite sunk in that they were married, and Tidus still seemed a little in a daze, though he couldn't seem to stop smiling for some reason...

Going for the opposite approach to Garnet and Zidane's wedding, Rydia's dress was light and loose, of various shades of green and with a hem that barely brushed her knees. It would probably be more scandalous in other parts of Gaia, but it was perfect for the warm weather and a beach reception. Her hair was mostly loose, though small braids and combs kept it in check, hopefully preventing the ocean breeze from turning into a mess.
The food spread was of minor interest to her, but she would get to that later. Other things were on her mind, at the moment; namely, dancing and friends. So, she'll greet and chatter with anyone who comes her way, and seeing about snagging a dance with a certain ninja.

He noticed that spread of food as well, but who could think about that when Rydia was dressed as such. Tossing a smile her way, he closed the distance between them.

Enjoying the nice weather outside, he teased Rydia, "You sure you feel safe with all the open water out there."

"Ooh, that's a good idea." Rydia approached Dagger from behind, coming to stand at her side. Her sandals were beginning to pinch, so she slipped them off, enjoying the sand as well. She flashed a bright smile at her friend and then tilted her face up to the passing breeze with a content sigh. "Lovely, isn't it? I could stay out here all day, wedding or not."

"It really is wonderful. It's been so long since I've been outside of Alexandria, for any reason other than business. And this is the first time I've seen Luca..."
For a moment, she lost herself in the horizon. There were still traces of the mist across parts of the ocean, and in parts of Luca... It seemed like the world would never be truly Mist-Free.

Given that this was a much less formal affair than she was used to attending in Gaia, Mjrn was able to get away with wearing a more revealing gown. It was simple and deep blue, short enough to reveal quite a lot of her long legs. Keeping the postscript of the invitation in mind, Mjrn also chose it for freedom of movement, and also arranged for her spear to be kept nearby. If there was trouble, she would not be caught off-guard.
But for now, her mind was on more pleasant things. She scanned the crowd, looking for both Tidus and Yuna, to congratulate them, and for any other familiar faces along the way. It was time to be social.

She looked amazing! Blue really suited her, and the dress really showed her legs off in the best possible way. It made him feel really short when he was next to her, but he didn't mind so much.
"Mjrn. You look beautiful."

"Thank you, Blank. It is good to see you again, truly."

"I just wanted to apologise again for the phone call. Sometimes I should learn to keep my mouth shut. I, I don't want it to come between us. Still friends?" He once more looked up at her, a slight sadness dancing in usually hidden crimson eyes.

...at least there was some consolation that Cecil and Rosa apparently weren't going to have one anytime soon. Hopefully they'd be happy enough with what they had at home.
As always, he stayed on the fringe of everything, hoping he could avoid much contact. He would stay for a little while longer and then leave. The beach was at least an outdoor setting, the main thing he could appreciate about this event.

Which was why she'd suddenly pop up in Kain's field of vision, giving him a bright smile and a big wave.
"Hi there!"

"...Hello?" Kain's own manner was a lot less enthusiastic than Rikku's. He wasn't outright frowning or glaring, but nor was he as cheerful as most other guests.

"How come you're over here mopin'? You should be dancin'!" In Rikku's opinion, everyone should be dancing, frankly. It didn't matter if she didn't know you.
