Thanks to Eiko, Tidus and Yuna couldn't be separated from each other - literally. With Tidus agreeing to let the girl do her Summoner thing, that meant that the two of them now had their hands wrapped in flowers, Tidus holding Yuna's right in his left and not planning to let go. The sleeves of the robe made that a little awkward, but they'd live with it - he wasn't about to let go, anyway.

It still hadn't quite sunk in that they were married, and Tidus still seemed a little in a daze, though he couldn't seem to stop smiling for some reason...

Since the two were bound together for a while, Rydia decided to make things a little easier on the couple and find them instead. As soons as there was a spare moment, the green-haired summoner headed over to join them and smiled radiantly. "Congratulations, you two!" And she hugged them, one after another. That they could only give a one-armed hug at best didn't bother her in the least.

Rydia glanced around and grinned. "It certainly seems that way. This was a great idea, having it at the beach. I couldn't imagine a better place for your celebration." And it suited them both, especially Tidus.

"That's a good point--excuse me." Rydia narrowed her eyes, staring past Yuna at someone rapidly approaching. Was that--oh joy, it was. She darted past to get in range and then-- "Toad!" And the fanboy now flopped around in confusion.

She glanced back at them with a smirk. "Consider that a wedding present."

Even Tidus could hear something behind him, a long cry that made him turn around to look-

"Oh shit," he cursed, not letting go of Yuna but getting ready to drag her away. At least until Rydia came into the picture.

Tidus stared at the now-flopping fanboy, then turned back to her with a grin. "That was awesome! Thanks!"

Rydia echoed the grin at Tidus. "You're welcome!" She glances to Yuna, nodding. "I'm pretty sure that was him. He can just stay like that for a while. I leave it up to you when you want me to turn him back. I won't be leaving, until at least after the Garden Festival...." Plenty of time.

"Yeah, that was him." Aaaaand Tidus was still grinning - he wasn't above getting some sort of revenge on the guy for freaking him out. Fans were awesome, but that guy hadn't just crossed the line, he'd picked it up and smashed it with a goddamn sledgehammer. "Maybe a day or so, a week seems like too long."

Mjrn was not one of the first people to congratulate the newlyweds right after the ceremony. She wanted to give them room, and time to speak with those most important to them. Hence, she wandered around for a bit, enjoying the beach atmosphere.

At some point, though, she noticed them relatively free and thus made her way over, a small smile on her lips.

Tidus grinned and held out his free hand, still looking just a bit dazed. "Hey, Mjrn! Thanks for coming." He might hug her or he might just shake her hand, but Tidus really was glad to see her. She'd been a good companion in Memoria, and usually had more sense than him.

Mjrn had likewise not forgotten the Memoria trip and while she might have had more sense, Tidus had definitely been the one to keep them going. His determination kept her from faltering more than once. Unfortunately, she had seen little of him since then, but at least now she was somewhat making up for it.

"I am honored to attend." She smiled with a polite nod and moved to shake Tidus's hand, not as effusive as some -and not wanting to crowd them- but at the same time, she wouldn't stop a hug.
