Today was unquestionably a spring day, after yesterday's late-winter kind of wind. Tomorrow is likely to be very windy again. Grandma Marta with her ever-changing moods is being mentioned a lot this year

We're having a "Grandma Marta" sort of March as well. Gales, today.

It's still a bit too early for house martins here, but the first of our migrants, the chiffchaff, arrived this week.

It should be too early for house martins here too, but... here they are. I only hope there are enough insects for them to eat.
