I use a simple key combination to switch alphabets, but it can also be done with the mouse.
I hesitate to install any version of the Russian Cyrillic because I don't want to have THREE alphabets to switch between all the time, so I have to copy two Russian letters that we don't have, inconvenient as it is (or use Word's Insert Symbol menu).
