I really can't complain about Hubby; he's a stickler for wanting a recipe to follow if he's making a new dish. He might play with it a bit to get it to taste the way he wants, especially after he's made it a couple of times, but he does use recipes.

I wish Boy #1 had his father's habit. He offered to make frosting for the chocolate

If you weren't so far away, I'd take you up on the offer. This is the SECOND time he's messed up trying to make frosting.

I hope someday he'll get it right!
