No wheat!

I was actually slim (for a size 14 body that is anyway) yesterday as I overloaded on wheat when eating out over half term & had none this week. So, note to body, you know what wheat does to you, so JUST DON'T DO IT (

I thought of you when I was at our local farm shop.
Blacker Hall Farm has a huge selection of gluten free stuff. They've got quiches, pies, sausages, cakes and brownies too. Oh and pasta.

I have lots of gf stuff at home, I just cav sometimes when I'm out & am fed up of salad.

1 cup rice flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup shortening
3 tablespoons cold water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
It's a bit delicate but is good for pies and flans. Blind baking helps. I prefer it to wheat pastry.
