Yesterday was Stitch 'n' Witch round at invisigoth51's. Cake and tea was consumed. And I completely pulled apart an enormous pillow cover that I'd knitted over the past 18 months as I'd not learnt intarsia by that point, and all the tensions were wrong. I had an usbourne book called "growing up" given to me when I got my first period, there was no talk. There was also one called "babies" which my mother told me I could have when we did it at school, which never actually happened as I went to an all girls prep run by religious old ladies, and by secondary school, had missed that bit completely.

Somehow though, I still managed to become a complete deviant, so no damage done.

It's always worth putting in an application as you never know what other applications they get! Oh and the NHS website is good for jobs (they keep your details on the online application system, so you can tweak each application and it's for all of the UK too!) and the holidays start at 27 days which is pretty good oh and the final salary pension...
