Hilarious Computer Virus Misadventures

So, after about three hours of aggravation, I made a computer virus go away. Wouldn't you know, the first day in months that I use my laptop, on our first day of having our own wi-fi network, this happens. I do feel a little pleased with myself that I correctly identified the problem so quickly, though; it was one of those malware scams that

Yeah, sorry about that. I think it was unrelated, since the malware thing only happened yesterday. I changed the password on my Hotmail account, so I think that solved the spam problem.

I'm sorry I missed you the time you tried calling; that was the one day my phone's battery ran out, and it got plugged in without getting turned back on. Most evenings I'm free, so pretty much anytime you want to call should be fine.

And mostly how we survived the lack of internet was by going to places with free wi-fi, like Barnes & Noble or Dunkin Donuts.
