This morning was the morning of the longest blinks in history. I woke up, sat up, turned on the heater so I could shower and get dressed for work, sat down to watch the morning news while the apartment heated up... blinked once and 10 minutes had passed... blinked again and 20 more minutes had passed ( Read more... )

Hai hai... wakarimaru.

I'll look them over but from what I understand of the whole immigration process, they would have to effectively sponsor me.

yep...but thats pretty common here now, they need so many workers. The Canadian Gov't is actually fast tracking businesses sponsorships.

Well, I'm a little paranoid at the moment that my gallery doesn't have enough of what they're looking for so I'm going through trying to add a few more items. I'll probably apply to them tomorrow.

Best I can offer is to try to start your own business. Admittedly, hard to do with a limited resources. It can be done but it's a big risk. (Especially when you get knocked down and have to start over and have two car payments in tow >.> )

Hope the job fishing turns up something worthwhile!

Unfortunately I can't think of a single business I'd want to start that wouldn't require a million dollars, a team of programmers and a 2 year development schedule.... :\

Ah well.

But heck, I'd move to Canada if I could get a job. :)

Yeah If you have your own sever computer I figured you might try a web design/hosting service. Maybe not as a permenent thing but it might be enough to keep a small monthly cashflow for those rough times.

Then again That's just an idea.

Yeah unfortunately I don't have the capability to host things. I pay for Steel Phoenix to be hosted. I'd consider web design but it also requires me to do one of the things I'm really bad at: sell.
