Today I am thankful for modern dentistry, anesthesiology, and medical professionals who are legitimately good with kids. (Morgan needed several fillings but was too anxious to cope with the dentist while awake. Everything went very smoothly and she is all better now.)

Today I am thankful for the increasing self-entertainment capabilities of children as they age. We have had two deaths in the extended family recently, so Morgan has been seeing various parents be sad, and hearing about some concepts that are new to her, like funerals. Morgan has started going to preschool two afternoons a week. She was very excited beforehand, but is having some trouble with the actual transition.
