FIC: Five ways to remember a partner

After episode 20, I had a major urge to write a fic about Barnaby regaining his memories of Kotetsu. Problem was, I couldn't decide how it should happen! Sooo, I cheated ended up going with the classic "five things" style story (and hurrying to post it before episode 21 came along and wrecked them all) ^_^;

Lovely. Although the skyscraper scene is very typically Tiger, I really like the way all the subconscious patterns and keywords twig Bunny's memories. It makes sense to me that Maverick wouldn't be able to expunge all of those, and there would be a point where they would reach critical mass.

This is absolutely gorgeous. The fifth one is beautifully simple and powerful, and--"...Like seeing a tiger at the zoo, pacing its cage with a haunted look in his eyes. It made him feel like crying"--this line! My heart cracked!

It's always really fun to hear what lines readers like the most, and with this one it was extra great (I almost deleted that particular bit, since -- short of randomly chasing down a criminal in there -- I couldn't figure out why Barnaby would be at the zoo).
