Junpei had half a mind to turn around right then, because he had no idea where to go in the city that was really quiet. All of his preferred hangouts were jammed with people - the mall, the arcade, the movies...
Well, there was that place around Port Island Station. The thought left him with a sharp pang in his chest for some reason, though he wasn't entirely sure why. There was nothing really special about it... was there? Not that he could remember anyway.
"Well, we could hang out at the station by the movies... It's pretty quiet there... 'Least compared to most places."

He was throwing out ideas, trying to think of the things he understood people did on dates.
He glanced at Junpei with a wry, self-deprecating expression. "I've never really gone on a date before. And as far as socializing, all we really do is go to all you can eat sushi - you know, with the conveyor belt? - I don't really know what people like to do for fun."

"No big deal, dude. I uh... haven't been on many either."
... More like any. But that would make him look like more of a tool, wouldn't it? Besides, he kind of knew what he was doing. Sort of.

And it was certain that Junpei wasn't a 150 year old zombie with no social skills, at least. He had to be one-up on Shito in the dating department.
"Well...that's true," he agreed hesitantly. "But I thought maybe you'd be hungry, and that going to a restaurant was a normal sort of thing to do on a date. But whatever you want to do, I'm fine with. I really just want to talk to you, I guess."

He paused at the door, not quite wanting to brave the cold until they had a somewhat more solid plan.
"That way, we don't have to wait in the crowds, and we could finish it in time for a movie?"
