After getting dropped off by Hakuba, Shito made his way into the dormitory, looking around for signs of anyone he might know.
He tried to tell himself that he wasn't nervous. Sure, he had never really been on a date before, and until recently he probably would have said there wasn't anyone in any universe that he'd be willing to go on a date with. But that was before he met Junpei.
It was true that the guy was a bit dorky, but that was part of his charm. To Shito, it all came down to the fact that he seemed both harmless and good-hearted. Perhaps, for the first time in his life, Shito had found someone he could entrust with the truth about himself.
Maybe, just maybe, he had found someone who would be safe. Someone who he might at least be able to take a risk with. And who maybe would be worthy of that trust.
