Well, for starters... people show up here from all sorts of different worlds. We've got everything from humans to aliens to walking robots.

On another subject, the Captain can make things just... happen right at his will. Made it start snowing inside the decks fairly recently. Want me to keep going?

Oh...! Well... Some people came from terrible places and to them, this ship is more like a safe haven. Not everyone is like that, but there are some who are. It likely sounds a bit confusing, but all new arrivals suffer from that.
