You live! \o/ Obviously I should message you more often.
It's good to hear that you are mostly settled, and I'm quite excited to know that you're starting school in ten days. You rock for being a grad student! I am extremely proud of you.
We miss you, too. But! You will make awesome new friends and soon you'll know all the coolest spots at which to run off and take photographs. You should post some of the duck photos!
Congratulations! Don't let grad school eat your brain. We miss you, too. Hopefully even after school starts you'll be able to post every few weeks to let us know you're not dead and how awesome you are doing in your classes.
Any tips on looking for a grad school? I need to do my research on a good Ph.D. program, but I'm not sure exactly how to start looking (besides just going to famous schools websites and browsing their graduate programs. Ideas? And on studying for the GRE?
And the ____'s make a return! Oh how I've missed them. ^o~
Glad to hear you are still wandering about in CA (and not as a ghost). And hopefully the apartment will get less annoying as you get settled in. Good luck with the start of grad school. You'll have to tell us how it is. You know we're all in suspense as to the true nature of graduate education. (I'm almost not serious...)
You should totally go hunting for cool places before classes start! It's a really odd and awesome way to spend a day.
