Oh Metroplex! All beautiful and mindful and both gregarious and meditative and quiet at the same time! Permeable! Line between inside and out blurred! <333333333333333333333333333333333333
And then in comes Rodimus, careful about rounding corners as he's had to learn to be aaaaaa.....
Different sizes flirting! Eeee! Only not meaning to, but...
Aaaaand Roddy's a snoop. Still. XD
Multitasking Aid multitasks!
All of Aid's little self-management tricks! <333 And as usual the little interactions, the gestural way you portray the dynamics of emotions! Eee!
And the careful, aching, tender easing toward what they want/need to talk about~~~~~~~ ;_; <333333 ( ... )

yaaay I'm so glad you like the Metroplex bit! He and First Aid seem so close in Ultimate Weapon - *hands* He's easy to wax poetic about.
First Aid would TOTALLY flirt with Roddy that way if he you know, thought it would end any other way than a freaked out unhappy Roddy.
*twirls*
ha! Blades jokes, but if he picked First Aid up and First Aid were NOT sufficiently heavy, he would throw a fit that would put the broodiest of mother hens to shame! Have you been cannibalizing your redundant systems without replacing them??!? WHY didn't you ask US?!!!? Hoooooot Spoooooot!!!! (I personally believe that all the Protectobots are heavier than would otherwise be expected from their frame and size, because while none of them have as much as First Aid, they're all built extra redundant in case First Aid ( ... )

Love the description of Metroplex and all the loving touches to his design \o/
First Aid had a great deal of practice at doing things he didn't want to do, and leaving undone things he desperately did want to do, and he set an internal timer and stepped out of his office firm and purposeful, measured. It was always easier to do anything if you did it like it was the most important thing in the world at that moment. Life skills right there, although oh poor baby, he needs a whole day of just doing things he wants to do.
Aid's got his office in the storeroom, and at first I thought, hm, maybe things are crowded for some reason, and then he goes to lock up Ratchet's office and oh geez. Right in the feels. ;_;
And aw, poor Roddy, he's just breaking my heart here, not who he's used to being and trying to trust that yes, First Aid does still want to see him and know him as Rodimus, and bitter and trying and good and kind, and good at what he does and he'd never believe ( ... )

Yeeeaaaaah the entire younger generation kind of just needs some unstructured playtime good golly. (Although First Aid is definitely one of those people who want to do too many things all at once and find it upsetting even when he's not working.)
*hugsyoooou* I am so glad that worked! It - yeah, First Aid was never intended to be stationed at Metroplex in the first place, it was supposed to be Ratchet's station, and even though he knows he should probably take over Ratchet's office, he hasn't made himself actually do it yet.
Roddyyyyy. oh yes, that, yes, he's - having a super hard time of it, and he was insecure about everything (and one of those things was his relationship with First Aid) in the first place so. He feels really really unattractive as Rodimus, too, which doesn't help, because I think he used to lean on 'well at least I'm cute!' more than he really should have - hardly his only good quality but something he really believed about himself and now well. yeah ( ... )
