Writer's Block: Pecking Order

I'm so stupidly the youngest by far. Both parents had been married before and all my siblings are half-brothers and half-sisters. And there is a bunch of them... I was spoiled, but of course. I'm a one and only - I'd like to think that my parents felt they couldn't improve upon perfection, but think it had more to do with the fact that it took them an awful long time to get around to having me ( ... )

I can relate to that so well! Being last, it was sometimes very much like being the only child. And having to amuse oneself meant reading! :-D Weren't we the lucky ones!

Exactly so! Hits me square in the chest. Siblings can't fill that place either, they were not around enough. Well said, Mopphead.
