Writer's Block: The Right to Privacy

Well, I'm only in it for Richard Armitage. ;-) Seriously, what good actors and other celebrities do for work interests me. And if they partake in charity, do insightful interviews and appear on some bigger events, that's a bonus too.

But I'm so happy that RA protects his private life! I don't want to know too much - keep the mystery, you know. ;-)

So basically - celebrities must take that responsibility for themselves, as RA does. Some obviously thrive on getting anything written about them and then complain afterwards.

I so agree with you! I like the way that RA keeps that air of mystery - I don't want to see him falling out of a club rat-arsed or know what the latest development in his personal life is. He's very generous with what time he does give and really owes us nothing more than his great performances.

I get really fed up with celebrities who court the press and publicity when it suits them and then expect everyone to respect their privacy when it doesn't. They can't have it both ways!

I like the image I have of RA in my mind, which is very like the one you have in yours. I don't think I'm wrong either! I just wish I lived next door to him - I bet he'd be a lovely neighbour and a great bloke to know. As well as being drop dead gorgeous and totally yum!!

LOL! I was actually browsing around your journal, re-reading you insightful musings on season 3 and lamenting to myself I hadn't join at the time. And then, there was a comment from you. Snap! :-)

So I'll go ahead and comment anyway and will be so bold as to add you as a friend. Noticed a few other interests in common with you besides all things RA! *gasp* Hope that's OK. :-)

And as you said: no, they really can't have it both ways! They've made their own bed &c.

Oh, please - comment away! I'm just glad that anyone reads my musings!! I noticed, too, that we seem to have quite a few interests in common apart from the divine RA. Great minds think alike, eh!?

Aaaaahh, good mood is always good mood! You marry him today and I'll marry him tomorrow! ;-D And then I'm sure there's a... few... ladies in line. It's lucky he's such a hunk, LOL!
