I'm going to try to finish up the Vid Review notes for tonight and maybe even (crazy ambitious!) the Dead Dog notes, although I may get distracted by vidding or writing or sleep, and then I'll just have the vidshows themselves to write up. Not sure whether to do a social write-up this year

I love The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne. If you can get your hands on the episodes, it's well worth watching (to my knowledge, it's not been released on DVD. If I'm wrong and somebody tells me I can buy it, I'll do a grand happy dance for at least five minutes.)

There are a few good fics for the show, including one that I got as a New Year's Resolution fic from Yuletide.

omg THANK YOU. How did I not know/remember that Lynn C. did a SAoJV vid?!? I adore this show, and there's just very little slash for it (although I got a most wonderful bonus story in Yuletide this year), and I did find one vid that I enjoyed by... I can't remember now. But I must have completely missed Keiko's original post.

(Also, after having dropped Prison Break about a third of the way into s2, I am now catching up entirely due to the wiles and machinations of sdwolfpup.)

My reaction exactly! And I didn't believe you that the scene was actually *slashier* than in the vid, did not seem possible. Then I watched it. OH MY FREAKIN' GOD. How is this pairing only a small part of that fandom? SDW got me to read fanfic for a show I don't watch. THAT IS THE AWESOME POWER OF HER VID.

Apparently, this fandom has a sad lack of prison sex. I do not understand this.

And SDW says there is a het ship which is just as cool as this one, although I suspect there are fewer knives and walls involved. Clearly she must vid that one next.
