Wow, this is pretty wild in a Jasper Forde sort of way.

So, Fforde's new book Shades of Grey is neither Thursday Next nor Nursery Crime. Doesn't matter either way, we won't be reading it any time soon. According to Jasper's site, it's been delayed until summer of '09. I'm quite saddened by this, but I'll be too busy in the next 12 months to really notice, actually. ;)

The UK Guardian newspaper has a puzzel section in today's (Christmas Eve) Paper. Included is a locked room mystery written by Jasper fforde featuring the Jack and Mary. I can't find it online at all, so if you read this in time you could try picking up a copy!

The senate elections at Sydney Uni are approaching and there is a strange correlation between the proximity of the elections and the number of chalk scrawls of "WHIGS" on the footpaths.
