This was fantastic! Castiel's journey was intensely written, absolutely riveting. You captured Gabriel/Shepherd's voice really well, even when he was in wolf form. And Castiel and Dean's slow-building relationship was perfect. I was expecting a sad ending, but I really liked the route that you went--yes, Cas died, but before that happened he got the chance to live life to the fullest. In a way, it was really on the sweeter side of "bittersweet."

Also, props for the Silver City mention at the beginning :D
