I love this! Their obliviousness (even if they're maybe less unaware than Dean thinks) is cute and their growing attraction to each other is worked in really well from early on. Jess was really nicely handled too; I get the sense that Sam broke things off with her when he started figuring himself out and that's a good thing. Also, as sad as I am that Dean and Cas were not actually buddy cops, their relationship still turned out to be incredibly sweet.

I feel like you added a lot of really lovely texture to your picture prompt :) Thanks for sharing.

lol I kind of want to write a Dean/Castiel buddy cop fic now, it was hard not to turn this one into that because they kept being all domestic together.
