Hmmmm
Well hot damn it has been forever since I did anything in this journal. I am working on typing up some new tutorials to replace the ones I accidently erased. Plus I am working on getting my real site back up and running. I have very little time online it seems these days. It makes me actually miss it. -
Icey California
These photos were taken a couple of weeks ago. I had to move my car early in the morning and it was covered in Ice and snowish type slush. I'm slow at posting things. Anyway this was and interesting change of weather for us.

Okay well I have been inspired by a tutorial to go out and take some stock photos. yep just so I can make them purty. I know I know I have like 20,000 px already but I think I really just want the adventure. Little Baby Pee Alot

Bring Home The Bacon!
Well after only one hour of sleep I absolutely suprised myself at how well the photo shoot went yesterday, though I did fall asleep the minute I got home. We worked really quickly so that D could get to school on time. I used an assortment of goodies such as slide film, B&W film with a red filter, warming filters and of course my digital as well. Way back when....
I was messing around adding some muted pinks and greens to some pictures. I was trying to give them that 1970's kodak snapshot feel and thought I'd try it out on some icon bases. It's interesting how different it is to achieve coloring for larger and smaller pix and making it look the same. Anyway here are a few I did from one of my favorite ( Read more... ) -

So today I was doing a couple of Icon tut's and got inspired to venture out and make some of my own. I was in an orangy mood and decided to come up with some orangy, slightly bright bases. I know not alot of difference. Not really what I had in mind. But I do like the muted tones to them. I'm sure if I worked on it I could make them look pretty ( Read more... )
