So we're not the youngest kids on the block, but that means that evannichols and I can really appreciate being with each other at this point in our lives. As part of our recent four-day extravaganza of togetherness we went to Lincoln City for an approximate 30-hour stint at a lovely beach house. We were there as part of a group to help his sister celebrate

Too damned cute! And the beach now is a great time for birding. ;) I'm going to try to go this weekend.

We did see several seagulls and probably some other birds… I'm just not so up on my avian friends. ;)

Thanks! And you are so welcome for the letter. I've really been in letter-writing mode, which usually bodes well for getting back into writing in general. But I do love to be able to write to people I know well. Hope that settling in is going well for you!!
