I hope I'm one of the first- it's 12:11 a.m. eastern time. I present you with-
birthday fic.

I suppose it's a bit rude to comment before the birthday girl, but this was too funny not to tell you so! Absolutely loved Lucius: "He was in this for the jewelry." Wonderful, wonderful crossover.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it- I was rather nervous to try a crossover in the first place. Now the question is, for skyehawke, which book category?? And I'm afraid even to put it at HASA, but I think I will anyway. :P

Lucius. He's really in it for the shinies, precious........

I would say put it in the HP category at skyehawke, both because that seems more popular and because since it's from Lucius's POV I think the balance tips that way.

As for HASA, heck, if it's in the members area... it *is* a crossover after all. Doubt anyone will raise a fuss.

The idea of Lucius as a sneak thief raiding his distant cousin's house is a hoot. ;-)

True enough. I haven't been there in so long I may have forgotten my login!! Surely not. ;)

And good concept on skyehawke. Since it's Lucius' POV the HP does dominate. I'm so glad that you thought his pilfering distant family's silver was funny!

love lucius and his purple pants. love snape to the rescue almost as much as i love draco pole dancing. there needs to be more fic with poledancing!draco.

I'm so glad that you liked it!! The Draco and Snape stuff just happened two days ago; I couldn't figure out how to get Lucius out of Middle-Earth, but then Severus decided to make an appearance, and then there just had to be more camp.

I'm surprised that there isn't a whole plethora of poledancing!draco. But you'd know about it, if there were, I suspect. ;)

rentboy!draco is sometimes mixed with stripper!draco, but stripping boys don't pole dance. so no, i've never come across poledancing!draco until now. maybe it will start a trend. one can only hope. [*grin*]

Ah... the subtleties of how Draco can get his kit off. ;)

This is why I need about 4 beta readers per story- guys apparently don't poledance, and in my last R/D I accidentally had Ron order oysters in some way that normal people wouldn't, and only a foodie picked up on it. Me, who can't stand shellfish of any kind, messed it up.

Nice icon, BTW. Which tool do you use to trace around things? Lasso or pen?

I'm so glad you finished this, I loved the first little bit and the ending is great. Poor Lucius, so far away from home comforts with his weak bladder and sore feet. Your dwarves are great, too, as well as being crunchy :-)

Your dwarves are great, too, as well as being crunchy :-)

I'm so glad that you liked them! My Tolkien fanfic tends toward Dwarves or the Rohirrim, Éowyn in particular. But I do so enjoy writing about Dwarves and their culture and eccentricities. Plus they get short shrift in fandom, so I try to remedy that whenever possible.
