A friend just asked if I would doubt myself now for having made such an error in judgement in people (something I had always prided myself on before). He didn't want to see me stop trying to heal things, or losing faith in people ( Read more... )

Yeah, well, I'f I'm old, you must be archeaic. You're the one who's all settled down and respectible, remember? At least I still get dragged out to punk clubs by the waitstaff.

But the answer is right here:

Your judgment may have been right; you may just not have listened to yourself. Just a guess. That's how I explain it to myself when something like this happens.
