Waking up this morning...
...and the first thing she says, as she bolts upright, is, "School today!" She is so excited, she's vibrating.
Off to try and convince her that things like "eating food" and "getting dressed" need to happen before we can go to school.

Watch Starwars on August 21st.
One of my mother's graduate students, lost her son and father-in-law in a tragic swimming pool accident this Summer. In remembrance of her son, she is asking for folks to have "Star Wars Parties" on August 21st, on what would have been her son's 7th birthday (when he would have finally been allowed to watch the film for the first time).
