i finished it about a week ago, and it was just as fantastic as ever. i <3 dune too.

of course, now i need to decide what else to read. i may have to continue to put chung kuo on hold for stephenson. i have yet to read the third book in the baroque cycle.

Here is my thought - VNC to your house, and surf the web "from home" via firefox. Sure, there will be a bit of display lag, but the loading will be full speed.

Advantages of this include the fact that there is NO URL request record. None. So the iron fist of your company won't ever clamp down on you while reviewing some log - except at most to say "why are you using VNC" to which you reply "to safely access my home computer"....
