Here musey, musey, musey...

Okay. In an attempt to kickstart my muse into writing again, I’ve been rereading all my old fics to determine what I liked and didn’t like about them.

Read the process... )

>>Daniel: *holding a stick* Looks guys! It's the moon... on a stick!
>>Jack: I've been a bad friend to you

LOL! Oh yeah. Seen that. Loathed it.

>>T: Apparently I do not have a sufficient part in this scene other than poorly constructed linguistic jokes, and worshipping DanielJackson

Seen that too. And I must admit to being guilty of not giving poor Teal'c his due quite as often as he deserves, though hopefully not quite to that level.

If you ever remember where the fic with a similar premise to FoE is, do let me know. I'd be entertained to see how similar/disparate it is to what I came up with.

You should be proud of Freedom of Expression. It's lovely. And it would seem that Severing set you off on a solo-whumping frenzy. Tsk. Poor Daniel.

I love reading your Jacob/Selmak scenes. Actually, I've been attempting to channel you while writing those in one of my works in progress. Isn't that flattering? It's a lot of fun to write from their head, though I keep catching myself slipping back and forth between their points of view. It's tricky, but you do it very well.

Anyway, this was a great idea. You should do the same thing to my stories next. What? It's not like you don't have anything else to do.

I'd say Severing was more of a symptom than a cause.

I didn't have the slipping problem with Jacob and Sel, but then I didn't actually try to write any of their scenes from Sel's perspective. If you're doing one from Sel's POV, I look forward to seeing it. Well, I do anyway, but you know what I mean.

The idea is to go throuh your OWN fics and figure out what you like or dislike, m'dear. I already told you what I thought of yours when I betaed them.
