Jean sounds like a total score. I'm not much one for "we'll be poor, but we'll be happy" in fiction, but he does sound a peach.

Thanks. I spent a lot of time on my sketches, a ridiculous amount probably, but it's prompted Anne (my teacher) to want me to approach stuff in this class like an extension of my sketch book ^^

Jean actually wasn't fictitious; that excerpt's from Emilie Carles's memoir, which I kind of want to go look for in whole now because it seems so interesting. So that makes him all the more peachier, eh?

That's... a good mental attitude. Although if I treated my writing class like I treat my Series, I'd not finish much and would change what I do so much that the teacher would not approve... but I suppose that's where it comes in handy that you are a lovely sketcher who finishes things.

WHAT. Men like that exist. GIVE IT ME.

Many thanks. I've started experimenting with the same thing using ink. Fantastic color, but I haven't accomplished anything with near the same amount of detail yet.
