my mom was feeling poorly, so I spent Thanksgiving with my posse. Good food and wine and dessert and then hot tubbing.The host made the turkey, and the rest of us brought sides and desserts. I made Green Beans with crushed almonds, lemon zest and roasted garlic; and Roasted Brussels Sprouts with bacon, green apple, red onions and golden raisins marinated in cider vinegar. I love Dhris Ware. I remember opening up TNY to one of his--I think it's froM Bulding Stories--installments, which featured a lonely amputee falling in love with a stray cat. (Care to guess how it ends?) It left me with a feeling I haven't felt in ages. Not happy, no, but any sincere feeling is preferable to saccharine feel-good blather.

The monkeys at the NYTimes scanned it in irregularly in file sizes ranging from 182K to 6.5M, and even misarchived an episode, but it's the best available until it's published in book form -- and, of course, it's free.
That was my best guess -- that all of these things had significant advance schedules, and none were able to reflect some of the hopefullness progressives may have felt since the Nov elections.
