I'm too lazy to find the Hockey Zombie Shark Week strips

Aug 03, 2009 20:40

Man, I had such a moment of schadenfreude today, courtesy of something I read on my flist. It was glorious. No doubt this will come back karmically to bite me in the ass, but it was wholly worth it for the five minutes of nonstop giggling ( Read more... )

I'm all for shark week, but I was a little surprised that they managed to do an All Shark episode of Cash Cab. Man I wish I'd been on that episode.
"Sharkskin! Shark Fin Soup! Tiger Shark! Sharky the Shark Dog!" and then I won a MILLION DOLLARS.

....wait, that got a little away from me there.

Dude, I didn't even know about it until tonight. This is what comes of not getting TV Guide anymore.

...I LIKE SHARKS.

Hee hee, shifty Ann is hilarious.

I would have recommended the Magnum Desert Eagle, but apparently those are manufactured in Israel now. :/ Don't know which US-built firearms have the most smiting power.

Man, that looks awesome. Originally I was going with a Beretta until I realized, duh, Italian. Now I think Twig and Warren Ellis have convinced me that Ruger is the way to go.

Well, Ruger apparantly 'makes guns for responsible citizens' so that's out.

Although they do make a shotgun. Shotguns will put holes in lots of things.

The Ithica Gun Company would like you to know they are committed to making the BEST pump-action shotgun in the world. Whatever that entails.

ok I'm getting off topic, although I've been watching a lot of Mythbusters and there are lot of things a handgun just can't do. No blowing locks off of doors, for one.

there's the list I was using, if you're interested.

Well, I could always go with the gun Ellis was talking about, which is the Ruger Super Blackhawk, but I figured someone out there knew more about guns than me and could fill me in. Unfortunately, it can't be a shotgun, has to be a handgun.

I saw that episode of Mythbusters! Man, MacGyver was frontin' on us all.

That list looks like it may be useful for future reference, though. Much thanks.

O_o

Okay, one should never follow links too closely, as I constantly warn G-cat...

(paraphasing) "The goat climbs up on Gerald's neck and cuddles him" sounds just a little too close to: "And then the goat humped Gerald's neck! Kee-rist, we've never seen anything like that!"

... ... ...

Reno: ... Can I buy that goat? I wanna surprise Strife....

Hey, it's no gay quail, but it has a certain appeal.

Oh, Reno's in for such a smiting.

I have to admit, I follow the swimming stuff vaguely (and pretty much entirely because of you ♥) but this about the swim suits is interesting.

Right now it's just swimsuits. In the near future, it might be GENETIC ENHANCEMENTS.

Also, usually I can sum up my reactions to your conversations with kadrin thusly: LOL. This remains the case. XD

The giraffe and goat clip is cute, even with Reno hinting at dire circumstances involving said goat and Cloud.

Oh, I know that half the people on my flist think I am batshit for caring so much about swimming. It's okay; I've come to terms with that. The hi-tech suits really are an interesting issue at the moment, though.

You would not at all be surprised to know it is all going into the Scaly Dick story, would you.

Goat and giraffe are friends! I just am bizarrely charmed by the enire thing, even more so with the pictures.
