So, I always feel I'm going to jinx swimming by talking about it when it's going on, but whatever, dude. Let's talk FINA.

It really scares me that you keep track of the things I say. That's going to be gigs of bullshit over the tenure of our friendship, until it all inevitably ends in that drunken barfight in Buenos Aires.

Apparantly the Verizon tech did show up to stick the cable back in the house. So, with any luck I will be hooked up once again.

I challenge anyone who has seen it to not have pre-WWII europe ruined by it.

Random points.
1. August will be the best month ever.
2. I feel it is that time of the year when I tell you and Flidge to seek serious mental help.
3. I don't even like swimming yet I read this stuff, that is how much I love you.

Any way, when I work out the kinks I'll send you an email about it. I tend to get lazy and throw everything away because I don't like it, I should get you and Catt to force me to do it, emotional blackmail or something.

Occasionally I watch Hetalia and absently think, aww, cute. And then I just realized I was charmed by the personification of Nazi Germany, and I have to go clear my head or something. Like I said, I am both fascinated and mildly disturbed by Hetalia. (REALLY disturbed by the people who, uh, draw or characterize England as this tiny, simpering uke, gagging for cock. It's like my reaction to people who think Vincent Valentine is really 5'4 and very delicate and wistful.)

I could use those twenty pages like crackheads can use drugs, yo. Like, I don't even know, sometimes I let stories sit in the queue at olympic_slash because I really can't actually bear to let them through so I wait for someone else *cough* to do the horrors, I mean, the honors. And in all reality I'm kind of caught up in American Idol fandom anyway.

I hate Ryan Lochte so fucking hard. Like, nothing will ever, ever make me like him. Unless he had a personality transplant. That might do it.

Sex would not really be an option, though; both parties strike me as being terrible at phone sex. THIS. WRITE THAT, OKAY.

I am so ashamed I haven't posted those yet. I totally suck, dude. I just want the damn story to be as good as it can be, and I swear, I will have it out before August ends. (I don't regret getting involved with the comm, but goddamn if some of the stories I've had to look at before accepting haven't given me intense brain damage. Blargh.) I was briefly following AI fandom from last season, but I slacked off. I love Adam Lambert, and I've read some awesome stuff, but for some reason I just haven't really bothered to follow it or gotten into it on this round.

Ryan Lochte is like Pieter van den Hoogenband for me, in that while I think he's a fine looking guy, I don't necessarily agree with fandom that he is ADONIS COME TO EARTH, and so I have a knee-jerk reaction. Also, some of those stories-- yeah, you get the idea.

I dug out an old unfinished story I had on this premise, basically. I think I yakked about it to chickpea down below. Though I can't decide if Thorpe's reaction to photos of Biedermann sexing would be "TRAITOR, STOP THAT," or if ( ... )

I'm trying-- they're not making it easy. Oh, by the way, your pics from Otakon are gorgeous.

I'm secretly saving my money to get Flidget to actually draw me this manga. I think it has to be done for the good of the world, you know?

I was gunning for CLAMP! Of course, then Tokyo Tower would get blown up, and I'd feel kind of bad. Maybe they can blow up something else, like... the Water Cube at Beijing.

Most of the credits for the piccies should really go to sheraton or mewsrissicat, as Rissi helped with my make-up, and Sher did the majority of picture-taking. (I did a little, though!) All I really did was wear the clothing, which, other than wearing the boots of doom for 12+ hrs, is relatively easy.

Flidget doing the manga would be even better than CLAMP, for no one else I know can do devious chibi's quite the way she can. ♥

...though if the Water Cube at Beijing blows up, I'd still be pretty darn amused. (References! References are always fun.)

I give them full props, but they did have a wonderful canvas to work upon and photo. Also, I've given up on crazy shoes. Can't do 'em. Don't have the willpower. Hats, though.

I know! Maybe I can swap her some doll eyes or something.
