Very funny, as you might guess. I can't take more than 1 chapter at a time, though, or 2 short ones. They're each a parody of a different setting, starting of course with Barsoom.
Oh, and those things stuck under the G-string between her right hip and her (ahem)? At least one of them is a credit card. Note also the shopping bags half concealed behind the title.
I recently finished The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove, which includes a Maureen Birnbaum type character -- a former B movie actress who once made movies as Kendra, Warrior Babe. She is a bit mentally unhinged, and frequently thinks that she really is Kendra. But she's also genuinely heroic, and does some very courageous things.
I thought it was a nice take on the "Warrior Babe" trope. Because she played a very important role in the advancement of the story, and accomplished some amazing things along the way, without being a figure of fun.
Sounds good. This one is definitely comedy rather than adventure, with the latter entirely in the service of the former. Good stuff too, in a different way.

I thought it was a nice take on the "Warrior Babe" trope. Because she played a very important role in the advancement of the story, and accomplished some amazing things along the way, without being a figure of fun.
