I went to Keaton's 21st birthday party today. It was a fine time, and I got to see Bunnyboy, Alex, and Steven which was cool. I also played my first game of darts... it's more fun than I would have thought. I wonder why it is that when we're feeling angsty, or down, or really any unpleasant emotions, our journal entries seem so much more interesting to write and read?

I don't feel any of that unpleasant stuff right now, but it was just a thought that occurred to me.

I live a great life, and I'm thankful for that. All things considered... I have great friends, some loving family members, I'm doing what I want to do with my life and am in control, and I have a life outside of work... actual real hobbies.

I don't know what inspired me to write this, and I sure don't mean to brag... but life is good :)

I'm really hungry right now. It's the hottest day in Charlotte since last August, and because of that I'm skipping kung fu and feel completely justified in doing so. I think I might go to grandma's for dinner if that's cool with her.
