crazy dream
here's the dream
it started out with Eve spending the night in my house. The layout was almost the same as the house on Choyce Ave. I was sleeping in my parents' old room. Eve got kicked out of her room because my dad had to use the bathroom (don't ask me), so she slept in the same bed as me. We made out and almost slept together, even though in real life Eve is a lesbian.
Suddenly I'm at work, just finishing up, when I hear on the radio that the FBI has raided my house. I hurry back home, which from the outside turns out to be where Collector's World used to be, near the corner of Pineville-Matthews Rd and Lancaster Highway, and when I go in, the living room kind of looks like the cardshop. Jesse Earhardt (from Underground Games) and someone else are there, as well as Eve, laying on a sheetless bed in the living room.
I wake Eve up (who at this point is light-skinned and disheveled for some reason) and ask her if she was here for the raids. She starts crying hysterically and saying how the FBI abused the terrorists who were there and shot one of them in the head for being defiant. I look on the security camera in the living room, and in the bedroom where we were sleeping, there was no longer furniture and Cloud from Final Fantasy 7 was standing there with a motorcycle looking pissed. I go over there and talk to him, and ask him if they got Sephiroth. He says he doesn't know.
At this point somebody from Final Fantasy 6 hurries over from next store (I can't remember who, possibly Locke or possibly Strago) and starts saying how we need a plan. Cloud asks if they got Shadow (from FF6) and he appears out from behind the other FF6 character. Everybody agrees to leave, but as we walk out the door, we're suddenly right by a steep cliff and the bad guys send out a boss, which is a humongous metallic robot thing in the vain of Kingdom Hearts, and it sends out a white cartoony dog with two little puppies.
Suddenly I'm not actually at the scene of this but am playing a video game of it, and another character (probably from FF6) tells me there aren't very many targets so I have to watch out. Sure enough the only target to lock onto is the center of the airship/robot thing and I can't reach it, and the cartoon puppies are invulnerable. There's also a sequence where the robot lays out a bunch of metallic caging along the rockside of the cliff and one of my allied cartoon characters (I want to say Scooby Doo but I have no idea who it was... it could have also been Chip and Dale) gets caught up in it, and it starts rolling down to trap him/them. I have to respodn by physically rolling my controller in the opposite direction, which gets the wire entangled around it. At this point somebody outside the game tells me we have to get going, and so suddenly I'm on a plane with the Final Fantasy characters. Someone calls me to the back, and I get pissed off and ask who has the authority to call me, but when I get to the back everyone else is frozen in place and possibly tied up, and some fairy-lady with the voice of PJ's mom from Goof Troop is there, and for some reason I just know that she's been alive for about 700 years. We talk about something, and then the TV in the plane comes on and the bad guys annouce they're killing all prisoners and that they'll stop selling food to the bad guys too.
So then suddenly we're in a mall that has a lounge area similar to Central Perk from "Friends", discussing how the fairy-lady has more experience than anyone she knows except for 1 guy, and we're trying to make up for her having less experience than her by putting all of our brains together.
That's when I woke up.
