I don't care much for Tonks anymore, but it's nice to see her get some character back. And, I'm glad she has someone to care about.

Poor Remus, still feeling guilty. But, now he has Sirius again, and James and Lily to help him figure out how to help one's baby in abstentia.

Actually, that's sort of why I wrote the story. I was getting tired of people pointing to Tonks's absence in the reunion scene as evidence of Remus's lack of feelings for her, and hers for him. I'm not a Remus/Tonks shipper, but I like to think there was some love there. It may not have been a particularly healthy relationship, and who knows how it would have progressed if they'd both lived, but they did care for each other.

Wow. Remus' awkwardness here is so perfect, as is Tonks' letting go of him in the end. (Also the fact that I just refreshed my friends page after writing 600 words of post-DH fic where the afterlife is an extended version of Diagon Alley.)
