"Huh. Buffy seems not to know that the Slayer line doesn't go through her anymore. Though I wonder if there'd be a new Slayer if Faith died, or if Buffy would have to die too. Or what."
Doesn't it go Slayer dies=new Slayer- no matter what?
I thought there would be three Slayers in the last season because Buffy did die twice, but I guess not.
Yeah, I was confused when there was no new Slayer after S5. But maybe that's because Faith was already activated. I read somewhere that the Slayer line now goes through Faith, but I'm sure if Faith had predeceased Buffy, and then Buffy died, a new Slayer would have been activated.
I thought that the reason no one had thought to use the axe/scythe/shiny killing thing to activate all the slayers before was that it was "lost". The watchers/slayer handbook told of its existence, but no one knew where it was kind of thing. Also, from the encounter with the creepy men that created the first slayer, I think they were kind of scared of all that female power. 'Cause socially primitive men tend to be stupid that way ("must make sure MY woman can't cheat on me, even as I screw every woman I can"/agricultural revolution era-types).
Okay I finished S7 again recently too... so I'm gonna kind of go down your comments and respond, cause I was kind of doing that when I was reading them
( ... )
You should watch "Firefly." Then you'll see a very different Nathan Fillion (Caleb). He's rather loveable. :)
Plus, it's an excellent series. Such a shame it was cancelled after only 12 episodes.
After some thought, I've decided that Dawn wouldn't joke if she'd actually killed Miss Kitty Fantastico. I bet she just scared her away, and she got out of Sunnydale on her own.
It all comes down to 1 moment in S7. Spike expaining the blooming onion with Andrew on the back of his "hog." I so need to read the S8 comic, just for more Andrew.

Andrew has shown up in the comic a few times so far, and he's always been funny.
