*Happy Solstice! I'm glad summer's here. Much as I hate the heat, spring is my least favorite season. I know; I'm weird.

I absolutely love Spike/Buffy, actually. It makes sense to me, and Joss has a habit of throwing little bits at you that you don't realise will come true until later.

Recall Snyder's first appearance, and he mentions being eaten...or in Dopplegangland when Willow says "I think I'm kinda gay" and then in Something Blue when Buffy and Spike are engaged. So, it wasn't surprising.

And at the end of Gift...with Spike...it just kills me.

Anyhow, with the magic thing...I think they were trying to show why just any old person didn't up and play with magics. There has to be a downside, or anyone would overuse it. Maybe it was a bit heavy handed, but it wasn't nearly as bad as the whole Glory thing. Let's not get me started on Glory =_=

I saw Buffy/Spike coming, but that doesn't make me any happier about it. He was pretty cool in parts of S5, but once he gets Buffy...gah. He acts like such a pig.

The whole thing does raise an interesting question - is it possible to love without a soul? Obviously, the answer is yes, but it's not a healthy love for either party.

I liked Glory a lot. I can see why people wouldn't, but I thought she was fun.

Mmm, I liked Buffy/Angel only because I adore her. I like Angel a bit better when he's being single and dorky (and starting to crush on Cordelia).

I've never written it or read much of it, but I kind of have a thing for Buffy/Faith.

With Spike... Gah. Given all she went through, I can see how she'd reach that point. But he's such a dick. I can't cheer for it.

I like Andrew. I repeat that a lot while watching certain episodes. Also, for all of that, the only season I like more than 6 is 3.

He's my favorite of the Trio. Which really isn't saying much, but - I do like Andrew. I like that he grows up into a responsible young man who's still a total doof.

Season 3 is my favorite. Followed by 2, then 5.

I was in Australia (Queensland) in July a few years ago, and the weather was just perfect. Except at night, when it was freezing in the poorly insulated hostel I was staying in. Brr.
