This almost made me cry because it was so tender and sweet the way Jim sees Bones as opposed to the way Bones sees himself. I hope Jim will continue to tell him and show him how beautiful he is.

Bones is still reeling from his divorce, losing his father, and his whole practice. He feels completely uprooted and out of place. When he starts to realize how much he's needed at Starfleet - how much Jim needs him - he'll start feeling better about himself.
