Yesterday, I drove up to Kohler-Andrae State Park, which is on Lake Michigan, about an hour north of Milwaukee. It was very pretty. Thank you! :)

Those sand dunes are little compared with the ones on the Michigan side of the lake. I climbed some last year, and they were quite steep! I love living near the water. I miss the ocean, but a really big lake will do for now.

"You must log in to see this page." One of the reasons I've never joined Facebook: no way to tell if I'd get anything out of it without actually signing up. I resent that. Still, I'm glad you had fun! Queen Anne's Lace is a plant? I only know it as a colour for cross-stitch fabrics. :-)

Oh, weird. I changed the setting on the album so you shouldn't need a Facebook account to see the photos. Huh.

Yes, Queen Anne's Lace is a flower.

And thanks!

Cedarburg is a lovely model of a village! Actually there is a shop there that had little carved or clay turtles (in the winery?) and I regret not buying one.

I can handle Cederburg in the fall, when the leaves are lovely. During the rest of the year, it's a little too "Look at us! We are a model American small town! Buy our stuff!" :P I do like their winery quite a lot, though. I'm not even a big wine drinker.
