Oh, those were all beautiful. But 'Earrings' was my favorite. I have such a soft spot for Jim being a good friend, and Jim/Uhura friendship fics. Seriously, I think I just teared up a little.

At the risk of sounding a little bit like a creeper, I think this ficlet made me realize what I love most about your writing is the way you make so much clear without saying it explicitly. In 239 words, you've shown us a TON about Kirk, Uhura, their relationship, and even Scotty. That's astounding, and I am a little bit in awe.

I love the last one, with Uhura and Gaila. Especially that, even when she's compromising and making Gaila feel better, Uhura can't quite stop with the practical:

That's how I see Uhura most of the time: she has a fun side, but you have to dig deep to get to it.
