Hmmm. The asterix are in the print versions. That probably means the software magic didn't translate them to breaks in the Kindle version. Been out for years, and this is the first I'd heard of it.
Yeah, I'm surprised I hadn't mentioned it in my review, but I guess self published books were new back then and maybe I hadn't mentioned technical issues? Or maybe it's somehow just my copy that had issues? Oh well, other than stumbling between scenes, I did enjoy it!
