Again, I loved this bit in particular:

I can *hear* that interaction between them and I can see what expression Renji would have on his face and the same with Byakuya. Lovely visual :)

Ah, I'm glad you enjoyed that part! There's a level of petty arguing I like to address with them. Byakuya is above arguing, but Renji pushes his buttons a little too hard and he says snotty things to him in return. I enjoy this too much, I think.
