It sounds like your birthday was great. Personally I think the way you spend your birthday and newyears eve. Show you insight on the rest of the year. The people you spend it with will play roles in the next year to come. Silly huh.

i spent both my new years and my birthday with my father. he's the most important person in my life. so i guess it's not that silly.

i have a friend just like that. i hung out with her last weekend, and i was like are you afraid of silence or something? it really isnt necessary to be talking every minute of the day. everytime i get off the phone she asks, who is that, what did they say, its like ummm if you want to talk to them, call them, just because someone calls me doesnt mean i have to tell you everything they said, and half the time they call to just "talk", its really annoying and im sorry you have to put up with it too.
